Your Garage,
Anytime.

Have you ever attempted a repair on your driveway and wished you had a proper workspace? We rent a fully equipped car workshop bay -  complete with a certified 2-post lift and professional tools to get the job done. From a simple brake change to clutch replacements, we have you covered. No need to pay labour costs, only pay for the time you need!

Our Mission

The average car owner in the UK spends over £500 servicing their cars annually, with unexpected repairs doubling this.

A traditional mechanic charges £75 per hour for labour in the UK - for jobs anyone can do! All you need is the right place to do it.

Our mission is to empower car owners by providing a comfortable and well-equipped space to work on their own vehicles. We want to make any task as easy as possible for everyone.

To give everyday car owners and enthusiasts the professional-grade space and tools they need to take control of their own vehicle maintenance, safely and affordably.

To provide secure, equipped 24/7 workshop units so you can service your car with confidence. No driveway, no garage, no problem.

Combining certified lifting equipment with hassle-free, self-service access, we bridge the gap between home repairs and full-service garages.

Helping drivers reduce labour costs, build mechanical skills, and maintain their vehicles on their own terms. Anytime.

Creating accessible, bookable maintenance spaces for those who want independence, capability, and the freedom to work on their car without limitations.

Building a stronger car community by giving everyone the space, tools, and opportunity to learn, grow, and develop real hands-on vehicle skills.

1. Gather Tools & Supplies

What you'll need:
- New oil
- New oil filter
- Drain pan
- Wrench
- Funnel
- Paper towels
- Gloves
- Safety glasses

2. Warm up the engine slightly

Start the car for 2–3 minutes. Warm oil drains more easily. Turn the car off afterward.

3. Lift and Secure the vehicle.

Use a jack to lift the front of the car, then place jack stands underneath to hold it securely. Never rely on the jack alone.

OR: use a purpose made car lift, like the one we provide at RampReady  for added security and safety.

4. Locate the Drain Plug

Slide under the car and look for the oil pan — a metal pan at the bottom of the engine — with a single bolt (the drain plug).

5. Drain the Old Oil

Place the drain pan under the plug. Use a wrench to loosen the plug and let the old oil drain out completely.

6. Remove and Replace the Oil Filter

Unscrew the old oil filter (usually by hand). Rub a little new oil on the rubber gasket of the new filter, then screw the new one on snugly.

7. Reinstall the Drain Plug & Add New Oil

Put the drain plug back in to manufacturer's specificaiton's. Open the hood, remove the oil cap, place a funnel, and pour in the correct amount of new oil.

8. Start the Car and Check for Leaks

Start the engine for a few seconds, then turn it off. Check under the car to make sure nothing is dripping. Use the dipstick to confirm oil level.
